bum me a smoke, and i'll tell you a story. - woody
jon and i were housemates for 3 years in athens, ohio, where we both went to school. i'm from dayton, ohio. he's from pittsburgh. we were both musicians and had always wanted to play together. when we did, it was mainly for fun. jon and i first worked together with a friend of mine from high school who was a drummer. we formed a band and named it the butt zits. we recorded an album on a 4-track in my basement. it was great, but we never did much with it. after that, jon got busy with a cover/party band and i played with some other people in a band called bigfoot. but, we're back together now and we have fun playing some of those butt zit songs from time to time. - ted
ted moved to pittsburgh after we graduated. and, about 2 years ago we came across woody. since then, it has been all humongous. - noj
Actually, we placed this stupid personal ad in a local paper saying that we needed a drummer for the heaviest band on earth. we were just really curious to see who would call. i guess we got lucky. woody was playing drums for a death metal band and was looking for a change. - ted
we have a harder style of music without the badass attitude. we play heavy because we have a good time playing heavy. -noj

a lot of times a band has a "our shit don't stink " kind of demeanor with the crowd. we're not like that at all. when we're on stage we're very open with everybody. we all have weird outlooks on life. so, we try to share that with people. - noj
basically, we're idiots and we're not afraid to admit it. - woody
it's all about having a good time. if we are enjoying ourselves that reflects to the people at the show enjoying themselves. -noj

when we make a song. it's like playing with a bucket of legos. we free-form jam for a while and come up with tons of little pieces to build something with. from there, instead of building a lot of crappy frogs and flowers. we grab all the really cool pieces and make a kick ass, frog eatin', flower stompin' monster. - noj
